Sawing in the sun

The first steps towards some geometric aluminium brooches and hairclips I'm working on...Who would have thought drawing out a few shapes would take an hour and a half?!

The sun was out so I decided to do a little alfresco piercing (that's sawing to you non-metalers), thus acquiring a sunburnt shoulder. Weather rarely permits outside work but it's super handy with the aluminium as even the smallest amount of dust can contaminate my other metals - it's corrosive to silver when heated. Dicing with death, I am!
